Crown Prosecutor! Virtual Career Exploration Session

Session details:

A Crown Prosecutor is a lawyer who represents the interests of the community. When someone breaks the law, the police gather evidence and the Prosecutor takes it to Court asking the Judge or jury to decide the person’s innocence. Join Richelle in exploring the role of the Crown Prosecutor and the steps required to enter this career that is a public duty which needs to be performed with dignity, seriousness, and justness.

Each student needs to register in advance in order to receive a link to the virtual events. The deadline to register is 12:00 pm the morning of the event. Career Exploration Sessions are run as a Meeting on Microsoft Teams. Further instructions along with the link will be sent directly to the student(s).

Archaeologist! Virtual Career Exploration Session

Session details:

Archaeologists work at locating and identifying archaeological sites, palaeontological (dinosaur bones, other fossils), old and abandoned buildings and other remnants of the past. This career involves planning, research, analysis, archaeological excavation and laboratory analysis to help preserve, protect and understand ancient sites and remains. The most rewarding part of being an archaeologist is finding artifacts that have not been seen in hundreds or thousands of years, and preserving them for the future. Join Tyrel to find out more about an in-demand career of exploration and discovery.
